Fiona is currently the Interim Academic Registrar at Murdoch University and has been at Murdoch University since 2001. In this role, she is responsible for Academic Registrar’s Office, which provides student-facing services and administration, and support services to academic staff.

From July 2014, Fiona was the Executive Business Manager for the School of Veterinary and Life Sciences. In this role, she provided high-level contributions to the administrative, resource and business planning activities of the School, and contributed to the overall governance. She worked closely with the Dean and School Executive Team to develop and implement the Schools strategic and operational plan to enable the School to deliver the highest quality academic and research programs.

In 2012, Fiona became a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and in 2017 completed a Master of Business Administration. These qualifications, coupled with her extensive work experience at Murdoch, terms on the University’s Senate and Academic Council give Fiona a profound understanding of Murdoch’s academic, research and administrative mechanisms and governance.

Fiona’s community work includes membership of the Rossmoyne Primary School Board and committee member of All Saints’ College Basketball Club. In 2017, Fiona received a Recognition of Service Award for her 6-year contribution to Rossmoyne Junior Football Club as merchandise manager and committee member.
