Mr Jordan Barham-Shepherd

Jordan Barham-ShepherdJordan is a proud Aboriginal man, currently in his last year of a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Social and Developmental Psychology.

Since commencing his undergraduate degree, Jordan has been an active member of the Murdoch University community.

Since semester two 2016, Jordan has held the Indigenous Officer role within the Murdoch Student Guild. Since his appointment Jordan has fought for an Indigenous voice on Guild Council, while growing the Indigenous collective and gaining support for events such as the Indigenous University games.

Outside of University, Jordan holds a competitive internship at Westpac, working in their Commercial Banking team in regions across Western Australia. Jordan brings his business, leadership and soft skills that he has learnt from Westpac to the Senate.

Jordan joined the Senate in 2018 to be a representative voice for younger students at Murdoch University. Jordan also strives to make sure a strong and fair student’s perspective will be readily available for the Senate.
