Ms Courtney Robertson


Ms Courtney Robertson

Courtney is a final year law and psychology student at Murdoch University. She is currently a member of the Honorary Awards & Ceremonial Committee as well as the Audit & Risk Committee.

She has previously served as the President and Education Vice President of the Murdoch Student Law Society in 2008 and 2007 respectively. In these roles she represented Murdoch University as a Counsellor at the annual Australian Law Student’s Association annual National Conference in both 2007 and 2008.

She has also represented Murdoch University on both a national and international level as a member of the Women’s Touch Football team at the University Games in Queensland in 2007, a participant in the ISAREEP Conference held in Sydney in 2008 and as a member of the Willem C Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Team in 2007.

In 2008, Courtney was selected as the World Vision Youth Ambassador, travelling to India to witness the causes and effects of child labour, trafficking and modern day slavery. She has continued her passion in this field of work this year as the State Director of World Vision’s youth movement, Vision Generation. In this capacity she recently presented to World Vision’s Board of Directors at their AGM.

She will graduate in September and is intending on sitting the New York Bar exam to enable her to practice law in New York City.
