Mr Tony Iannello

Tony Iannello is former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Western Power Corporation, the previously fully integrated electricity company, owned by the West Australian Government, with over 900,000 customers, an extensive transmission and distribution network covering Australia’s largest state, and a multi fuelled portfolio of generation assets. Previously, Tony had a distinguished career in banking over 30 years. He occupied many senior executive roles at Bank West, including General Manager, Finance & Corporate Services, General Manager Corporate and Interstate Banking, Head of Consumer Marketing, Head of Direct Banking and Head of Strategic Planning.

Tony Iannello holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, is a Fellow of the Australian Society of CPAs, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Senior Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.

Tony is currently a director of the SP Ausnet stapled group of companies, and a member of the Pacific Road Corporate Finance Advisory Board. He was previously a State Councillor for the Securities Institute of Australia.
